Maximise Property Value

AquaPave® pervious concrete is a muti-purpose pavement that eliminates stormwater runoff. Unlike conventional asphalt or concrete pavements that create runoff, pervious concrete provides a vehicle or pedestrian surface, while also doubling as your passive stormwater management system. AquaPave® can capture and infiltrate up to 100% of the water that falls on it, which allows you to create more buildings, rather than swaths of retention ponds.

Roof Run-Off

Maximize the performance of your AquaPave® pervious concrete system by using it to infiltrate stormwater from adjacent roofs. The soil infiltration rate, design storm and pavement/roof area ratio will determine how much you can capture. In many cases, 100% of the roof area can be handled by the pervious concrete system using a principle known as LATIS.

LATIS: Large Area Thin Infiltration System

Large Area Thin Infiltration Systems (LATIS) are a complete departure from standard practice. Conventional stormwater systems move water through pipes from large impervious areas into narrow but deep retention ponds. Conversely, LATIS keeps the water static, spread out, and shallow, in order to promote infiltration. This method retains and infiltrates only a few centimeters of rain water in the basecourse, and allows almost any rainstorm to completely draw down to the ground in less than 24 hours.
